Welcome to Building Rome(s) by Aadil Maan, a bi-weekly newsletter on managing technology programs, and everything else I find interesting to talk about in tech.
A decades long journey successfully shipping massive software and hardware programs at Blackberry, Apple, Google, and nowadays at Nike, has left me with a lot of thoughts and ideas on what it takes to build everlasting surprise and delight.
With this newsletter, I hope to share some of those thoughts and ideas on a bi-weekly basis.
Along side my brain waves, I will share:
articles
books
podcasts
tv shows
infographics
research
anything that I feel has an impact on me professionally and personally.

Why name it “Building Rome(s)”?
The saying goes, Rome wasn’t built in a day. That is true of any platform, product, and service. It starts with a spark, an idea that is molded over time into something extraordinary. I have been lucky in my career to have had opportunities to build many Romes at some of the biggest names in Tech. So, instead of naming it something boring like …
“Program Management in Tech”,
… or …
“All Things Technical Program Management”
… why not …
“Building Rome(s)”.
… sounds much cooler especially for a newsletter name.
